[Feb/8th/2004] by TRON - 48HR PROGRESS REPORT -
I have successfully revamped the site to the point where it is fully
HTML 4.01 compliant and valid as you can see for yourself by clicking
on the validator button located at the bottom right corner of the site.
-So now the site's HTML code is up to specification as it should be and I also cleaned up most of the pages' typos and spellings especially on this main page as you can see by reading the older news posts below this posting. I also slightly updated the user agreement on the registration page to make a little more sense to make my point that the only reason why I require an email address is to prevent massive abuse of the system and to make it more acceptable in terms of security. Speaking of security I will be getting a SSL certificate for this subdomain soon that way you guys can login in style, but of course I will be using the free SSL certs offered by CACert.org since they are just like the real thing except not trusted by all web browsers, yet. Accounts Open: 6 User Accounts: 14 Account Limit: 20 = |

= [Feb/7th/2004] by TRON - DEVELOPMENT BACK ON TRACK, REALLY! -
Yes it's true, I am back to working on the Go Project! Woohoo!
-I will be finishing up the code that I have yet to get done, for example the forward name removal code so users can delete their unwanted forward(s). I have been so busy for the past two years that I completely forgot about this site project and for those of you who still use it or trying to anyway don't worry I'm working out the current problems. I might have to revamp some things so this site project might go completely off line for a while. = |

= [Jan/29th/2002] by TRON - LOGO NOW ON SITE. -
Grateful thanks goes out to a dear friend of mine Ransom for designing
and creating the logo for the Go Project site for me. Ransom is a friend
of mine that mainly does web designing and PHP programming for a living
and is very good at it. So if you need a site developer then check out
his company web site at http://www.capitalhosting.net and also has nice
site web hosting packages. :)
-Also another thing before I go, the site and the entire T2N network was down during the weekend since Friday night until Monday noon, that was due to the ISP trying to upgrade their machines and some how messed them up then finally they fixed all the problems. So everything is back in operation and I'm back to developing the site further more. = |

= [Jan/21st/2002] by TRON - SITE DESIGN ADD-ON. -
I have now added a little effect to the menu so when you hover your mouse
pointer over the links in the menu a tooltip will pop up and give a short
description about the link. Just something a little extra nothing that is
really needed.
Enjoy playing around with the new 'toy' :)Also, I will start to work on Go Project site either later on tonight or tomorrow, I needed a three day break away from programming and such so that I can cool off and releave some stress that way I can get work done a lot faster, and also I can think up new ways and ideas of designing and coding this site. - = |

= [Jan/17th/2002] by TRON - PROJECT UPDATES. -
So far the project is coming along great and I've coded some more features into
the site to make it more secure and more controllable via the system database,
so that way I can control everything via web-based administration which I have
not yet coded and designed. I'm just using phpmyadmin to edit the Go Project's
settings through the database. Kinda cool huh? :)
-I have set the limit so low that currently nobody can register for their own account and I have done this for few reasons: one is to keep people from creating their accounts already and if I end-up finding a bug then I would have to go through a mess to clean out everyone's account configuration, second is because the project site is just no ready for public use yet even though I've gotten the register code fully working. The confirm code is not complete nor is there a account page for users to use to setup their forwarding names. So that would be pointless for people to register and not able to confirm the account and use it. This weekend which is starting Saturday I plan on opening up the regsitering accounts to around 40 which I think would be enough. So if you wish to register in time then you better stay up very very late Friday night because sometime around Saturday 3:00 AM I will losen the account limit. That is all I have for now and I'll keep you all up-to-date on what's going on. = |

= [Jan/16th/2002] by TRON - GO PROJECT IS SOON TO OPEN. -
The Go Project is coming along quite nicely and should be fully operational for
beta testing sometime this weekend. I've put a lot of thought and hard work into
this site project, and I hope that this all works out as well as I expected.
-It will be a while before everything is working properly and some pages are still missing because I have yet to have the time to get them layed out for them to be ready for use. This project is a URL Forwarding service site that uses pure PHP code and a MySQL database. This project shall and will never contain any ads what so ever nor will I ever plan on it since ads are very annoying and unnecessary in order for this site to operate effectively. Well that is all that I have to announce for now and that I can think of at this moment, so I'll get back to work on the project and I hope this all goes well. :) |
